Buttermilk Lemon Cake
INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups sugar 1 1/2 cups crisco 4 eggs -- well beaten 1 cup buttermilk 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon salt 3 1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon lemon extract 1 teaspoon butter flavoring
RECIPE:
Cream sugar and Crisco together.
Add eggs and buttermilk.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to buttermilk mixture.
Bake in tube pan for 2 hours at 300 degrees.
